Character Info:
Name: Khalid ibn Maleec
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Rank/Title: First in Command of the Shitennou/Guardian to Endymion
Place of Origin: United Arab Emirates
Current Home Location: Tokyo
Preferred Earth Age: Middle - his family had more power before the restructuring of the earth.
Occupation: Heir to his families oil cartel. Currently a "vice president" of the company. Has moved to Tokyo to make sure that the family business can adapt and remain successful in the new world.
Family:
Father: Maleec ibn Ajmal
Mother: Aaqila
Sisters:
Sabra
Basma
Appearance: (until I can find a better picture)
Personality:
Khalid is very careful about what he presents to the world. While he is often referred to as being carved out of stone, the truth of that matter is that he was raised in the world of politics and is careful to not give opponents any hint of what he is thinking. He tends to view everything through the lens of conflict and opposition.
Though raised in privilege, he takes very seriously how easy it would be for he and his family to fall from their position. He is not particularly concerned with the positions of those beneath them, believing that he has some kind of special right to be a privileged oil princeling - and will work hard to protect that.
However, he is able to have fun around the few people that he trusts. Though still relatively guarded about his emotions, he has been known to smile and even to laugh on occasion.
Though not usually generous, he loves the arts and is quite well known for being a patron of them. Somehow, that has also lead to a guilty pleasure that he does not share with even those closest to him, a young woman who has taken the world by storm has attracted his attention. While he could not be considered a fanboy, he finds himself oddly intriqued by the Japanese idol - Aino Minako
History:
Khalid was born to a life of privilege. His farther was an oil-shah and since his family was not religious, very little was denied him as a boy. He and his family tended to dress in a more modern or western style, though there was still a level of modesty to the dress of the women that would not be found in other parts of the world.
While many might think that the young boy was spoiled, there were also very heavy expectations put upon his young shoulders. He was taught of his duty to his family, his duty to do nothing that could reflect badly on his family name and even more importantly his duty as an ambassador of the family.
He was educated by private tutors, and while he is rather savvy in issues of politics, the life of the "common" men and women bores him. While this view did change slightly when he fulfilled his obligation to his family and country as an officer in the army, since he started as a Lieutenant and made it to Captain, he never experienced what it is like to be an enlisted man.
Upon exiting the military and taking his position in the family business, he brought the military discipline with him. While the Old Earth uprising did not touch him too closely, he has accepted the change to the New Earth, but his focus is on making sure that his family and company will continue to be successful.
Unfortunately, he has lately come into conflict with his father and finds the business he is tending to in Tokyo to be a welcome break from the constant exhortations to find a woman from a good family and marry. His few relationships with women have been mutually satisfactory and discreet enough to bring no shame to either family involved, but the idea of permanently aligning with a woman holds no appeal to him.
Powers:
Kunzite's powers involve energy, absorbing that which is thrown at him and being able to use it to attack.
Currently, that is not something that he has any reason to be familiar with at all. He simply seems to have a very good endurance and to be stronger than average.
Past Life:
Khalid knows nothing of his past life. He occasionally has dreams, though all he remembers about the dreams upon waking is a deep sense of guilt. Occasionally, a sense of memory just beyond his reach will occur to him, but it is always fleeting and he has learned to just ignore it.
