So sometimes a particular thread may need to be limited to certain characters or can be open to anyone and everyone who has a reason to be in a particular place at a particular time.
The best thing for a poster to do is to indicate who he or she believes should be there. This is done by adding a tag to the title.
For example, if I were to start a thread that was to be a private conversation between Ami and Makoto, it might look something like:
Needing to Confide (Makoto)
However, if I was posting Ami swimming in the pool at the Palace and was thinking (or had planned with the other mun) that Michiru would be there, but was open to everyone, it might appear as:
Going for a Swim (Michiru, Open)
And of course, there is occassionally an unplanned post in which you have no real preconceived notions as to what would happen. That might look like:
Daydreaming (Open)
However, just like in real life, people don't always stay where we want them to. If you want your character to happen in on a thread your not tagged in, all you need to do is PM or IM or otherwise talk to that person and get permission!
