Because of her incredibly fondness for racing Haruka feels very connected to the Middle Earth age.

Fencing Instructor. Haruka is rather accomplished in fencing and decided that she would teach younger people how to use what seems to be a lost art. Though she can be an incredibly strict sensei her students know it is out of love for her craft that she acts this way.
Family:
Haruka was actually an orphan. Both of her parents died when she was newly born. She was raised by her ‘grandfather’. Most people called him that but she always suspected he wasn’t, though she has never been able to prove or disprove this theory. Either way the older man was very wealthy and maintained a hands off approach to raising her. She never wanted for anything because of his extreme wealth but she did learn to be as cold and standoffish as he was.
She happens to consider her lover, Michiru, to be a part of her family. They have been together for a long time and in certain parts of the Earth world would even be considered married because of the amount of time.

I like both of them and couldn’t quite choose. So I decided to put them both here to give just an idea how she would look either way. I hope you do not mind that.
Personality:
Haruka is known to be very strong willed and incredibly stubborn. Fiercely protective she will do nearly anything to keep what she views as hers, safe and secure. Usually she has no trouble doing much of anything, rarely does she fumble when faced with known situations or people, in fact she turns on this charm that is always just hovering on the surface, waiting to encounter someone and come out to play. When she cares about someone though, the charm itself fads and her eyes will soften. Haruka will often do whatever they want just to make them smile
One of the worst things about her, is her flirtatiousness. Constantly she can be seen flirting with other girls. Usually the more feminine ones, of which she has a weakness for. Haruka makes guys jealous because of her charm and ability to make a girl feel special, when most of the time she isn’t even being serious
Haruka loves to mislead people. Not necessarily on purpose either. She just has a tendency to prefer masculine things and couple that with her height and strength and androgynous features and she is easily mistaken as male. Rarely does she correct people, unless she wishes to get to know them more.
The major thing that sets people off, besides her not being honest about her gender, is her standoffishness with strangers. Unless they happen to be a very pretty girl she usually could care less, or at least she comes off as that way.

Haruka was born into a very wealthy family shortly before both of her parents died of a mysterious illness. Lots of rumors and speculations surrounded their deaths, most thought it was murder for money yet none was ever left to anyone but the small baby girl who had just been born.
Later on, after her grandfather had been named her guardian, the rumors began again. Though he never took any of her money and seemed to possess a secret stash of his own.
Her ‘grandfather’ was a very mysterious man whom she rarely saw. Growing up she was raised by myriad faces, people whom she cannot remember to this day. Nannies, so many of them. She was a difficult child so they went through them rather fast.
Never did she want to wear dresses as a child. In fact she would often rip them off in a fit and run around naked, causing a wild goose chase for her before she got too cold. Not only that, but she would beat other people up, not out of cruelty but because it was fun to wrestle and have a friendly scuffle. Early on she even took scissors to her what was long silky white blonde hair then, and proceeded to carve it up very short. It has been that way ever since.
Sometime in her early teens she took a liking to cars. This liking turned into a heavy lust and she bought many incredibly fast cars with her money and would race people. Legal races were not half as fun as illegal street races! The money she won at those was often given to charities, it wasn’t like she needed it anyway, it was all about the speed and competition.
In High School she excelled without parallel in physical education, easily trumping girls and even boys with her skills and prowess at any sport she tried. Though her favorite by far is track and field, of which she could have easily competed in but never was interested in taking it to that level. Her worst subjects by far were anything having to deal with language, especially Japanese, she thought it was boring and often daydreamed of racing while in class.
During this time of boredom and unrest, Haruka met someone she would happen to spend the rest of her life with. Not in the conventional way but in a way to meaningful that even she wouldn't understand it for awhile.
She met a young girl, about her age, named Michiru. At first it was all flirtation and fun, per usual, but something about this girl kept nagging at the back of her mind. She would constantly think about her, and become jealous if she were to pay any amount of attention to anyone but her. Eventually, and with much blushing, she asked Michiru to be hers. They have been together ever since, weathering everything together. Haruka knows she can handle anything with her love by her side.
After graduation she was still uneasy. What should she do? Sure she could race professionally but it wasn't her thing, she preferred the gritty street races. It was one lazy night with Michiru that decided what she would do. they had gotten to talking, after spending hours showing just how much they cared for each other, and Haruka had mentioned having nothing to really do. Michiru suggested to her that perhaps she should persue something she enjoys and could pass down to others.
This was how she got the idea to teach fencing. It took her a little while to figure out how to get certified to teach, and a few years of extra classes just to make sure she had it all down, and just how to teach her skill to others. After she had her certification she spent some time figuring out where to open up a school, finally settling on Tokyo, Japan. Since she already had a good deal of money it was easy getting a prime location to open up her school. She was only 24 when she opened up her school, and she has been teaching ever since, in between time with her love Michiru.

She also has a slight psychic sensitivity (mostly in the form of dreams), or by hearing ill omens in the wind.
World Shaking- she gathers energy from the sky and hurls this at the ground, breaking it up. Purely sky not earth, power.
Space Sword Talisman (Space Sword Blaster). The sword is also used in physical combat.
She has a strong affinity for and is able to manipulate the air and sky itself currently, but doesn’t seem to bother with it. It’s only necessary if lives are at stake. She prefers to use her own physical prowess to accomplish things.
Past Life:
Haruka remembers everything. She herself was not plagued with the mind altering that the inner senshi were sentenced with. She finds it very sad that the majority of them could not remember it all and sometimes feels a bit alone in all of it. Though she is careful not to mention anything, if they were meant to remember they will in their own time.
