See how crazy it can be just to get me to go someplace? And this is the abridged form of the emails!

Anyway, here’s the list. And you have the most boring new private email, srsly. No EmoTuxBoi2013? What’s up with that? The press will be able to figure that one out easily, don’t blame me when you get crazy media spam. I bet right under this email is one from Larry King asking you for an exclusive or something.

Though sometimes I click on the spam folder of my email just for giggles. I especially love the offers to enhance and make bigger a piece of anatomy I don’t even have.

The fact that 'ordinary' people can get into the non-private clubs is probably why he put the private ones at the top of the list, they have some understanding of the clientele there, can just look at the members list and know who attends.

But, I happen to like going to places with normal people. Spontaneity-- I need a little bit of it! Anyway, we'll be fine.

LOL, are you kidding me?! I'm not doing the same thing all the time! I almost wish I was... And I certainly get out and about, it's just for work, and not with 'normal' people. And I love everyone here in the Palace, including the senshi, but they're not exactly 'normal' people anymore, and I don't mean that in a bad way, but it's true.

No offense, Mamoru, but your reputation at the moment is pretty much shot as it is. I doubt a fake Tuxedo Kamen on the internets is going to change that for the worse.

Yeah, and if you come whining to me I'll call together a cabinet meeting and you and the Ministers and I can all bemoan email. I'll invite Lucan too. We'll groan about how our inboxes are perpetually full and there's no time in the day and we have to hire three different people to monitor it and then it's still not enough and we'll tell each other that somewhere in the world it's happy hour and we'll get a drink because email is that scary sometimes.

Doing the same thing doesn't mean it would be monotonous, not that I'm saying I want it to change. You have no idea the crazy things you have to do as Queen. The job encompasses so many facets. It's fascinating, but weird at the same time.

Glad you went back to work and it was fine! I knew it'd be okay. And yeah-- I need to meet and talk to normal people. Not only does it keep me in touch with the real world, it keeps me grounded and aware of what people are expecting. Plus, you need to make connections with people! Don't get me wrong, I love the Palace and all, but things that are so big here just don't matter in the real world. No one out there gives a crap if two senior diplomats are bickering over who's chair is higher by a centimeter or two because supposedly that's symbolic of power relations, or whatever. And yet it's amazing how much people here care about things like that and waste so much time playing games just to get closer or to get my attention, or whatever. And I have to remember that the kind of people who manage to seek and obtain power aren't the normal kind, they don't represent everyone's interests, so I need to get that from the source.

Nietzsche said that it's easier to cope with a bad conscience than a bad reputation (don't ask me how I know this). I'd like to think he's wrong in more ways than one. These days notoriety is celebrated, if a celebrity is caught doing something immoral they can count on fame and adoration for the rest of their natural lives, it seems. Don't pride yourself on your reputation, Mamoru, in this world reputation isn't of much credit to one's character, only one's spin doctors. Truth will find it's own path, promise.

I think my ministers would do anything I told them to, and if I said to have a cabinet meeting to curse email and you were invited, they would just have to deal. And humorous, getting people thrown in jail? I would have to fire them all if that happened. It's a legal issue, ethics rulings say no cabinet member can have an arrest record. So please don't, though I'm sure some of them would drink socially with you. Some of the guys might even get out the cigars.

Integration will solve some old problems and create some new ones. Even with plenty of people to help there's no shortage of things to do.

I've told her. Don't keep me waiting by the phone!
