Okay, I had an idea to create an original character instead of a canon one. My idea is to have him be a brother to one of the Sailor Scouts who has been revealed up to this point. My original idea was to have him be revealed as the brother of Sailor Neptune whom she'd never spoken about or anything before because she was ashamed of him being a homosexual. But I am really open to him being a brother to any of the Sailor Scouts. I've been having dreams about him for ages and he is so deeply in my head I have to create him somehow. As long as he is somehow related to either Sailor Neptune or Sailor Mercury I can use the dreams I've had about being a Sailor Scout for him. If not, I'd be willing to compromise and work on him to adapt him. Let me know what you guys think!

Mmm well... considering that sailor neptune is gay I doubt the "ashamed of him for being a homosexual" would work. ^^; Other than that, I dunno what Ami's stance is on OCs. it'd probably be up to the player of the senshi you plan to relate him to?

I'd have to agree. Michiru is obviously gay herself. I don't see how she'd be anything but warm and loving to a homosexual or a heterosexual brother.

I'm very open to OCs. However it's a canon that we desperately need to get started. Nonetheless, OCs are completely welcome.
However, as the others have noted, there's a problem with the back story you seem to want for him. Not only would Michiru specifically not have a problem with someone being gay, but because of their relationship with Michiru and Haruka, I do not think any of the scouts would have a problem with this. I know for a fact, if you made him Mercury's brother (though it would have to be a half brother, I'm thinking) that she would not judge him for his sexuality.
I'm not sure about making him a Scout though. You'd need to convince me.

Well then, which of the Sailor Scouts would like a brother they couldn't remember and would be reunited with? Because I could go any way with him, I'm full of ideas..

From the discussion in the cbox, I think that there are very few options for unknown siblings, and it will be up to each individual mun whether or not it's something to which they are open.
I do believe it is known that Makoto and Minako are only children. Also, Usagi only has the one brother.
I would think it would be possible for Ami to have a younger half-brother by her father. It would also be up to our Rei-player whether the same is possible for Rei (with his status as a politician and a family man, he would probably not be acknowledged by his father if this were to happen); however, that is entirely up to our Rei. Michiru has been written, I think rightly so, as an only child, and I would think that the same would be true for Haruka as well.
I really think that your only options would be possibly Ami or Rei and that would need to be something you'd need to discuss with the players individually.

Michiru and Haruka... I'm not totally sure on this, but I believe its canon that they were not reborn. Like Pluto, they came to earth later but spent much time guarding the solar system on their castles elsewhere. At least, that's what was implied in the manga--I don't know how true it is. I'd have to go back and re-read. /2cents
I'll go ahead and throw out there that I'm not terribly comfortable with the idea of an OC brother for Rei, to be honest, but I'll admit that a really strong, interesting character could sway that, as could a good plot and reason.

No, the manga does say that they were also reborn. Thus Michiru waking up on her own.

I'm not sure about making him a Scout though. You'd need to convince me. Thought I'd toss in my opinion on this too. I'm not behind mail 'scouts'. All the sailor senshi were female in all of Naoko's original works. As a player who likes things canonish, I'd rather see that OC senshi were female. And that's my peace  |
