Preferred Earth Age: Setsuna being the Guardian of Time harbors a connection to them all. However, the Middle and Future ages are the times she feels closest to, as they are the ones in which she was able to live amongst her fellow senshi.
Occupation: Up until this point, Setsuna has been guarding the Time Gate, and has not had an occupation for quite some time. But now that she has left the Gate temporarily, she works part time as a fashion designer, and has opened a small store of her own. She designs many outfits for the Senshi, and makes most of Hotaru’s clothing herself.
Family: Chronos the god of time is her father, she has no family other than Hotaru as her adopted daughter, raising her with Haruka and Michiru.
Appearance:
Personality: Setusna usually appears to be very cold and aloof, stoic to the events around her, but it is a shield she has developed to help protect and sustain herself during her lonely years. Underneath she has a very gentle warmth, and tender heart. Her responsibilities often cause her to hide this side of her nature, but she deeply cares about those closest to her, and is loyal to the senshi and Usagi. She is very patient and a wonderful mother to Hotaru, and gets along well with Haruka and Michiru who she raised the child with.
Because she has had to give up many of her own personal dreams and hopes, Setsuna can be very jealous of the others, and longs to be able to have a normal life. She loves learning, having a passion for physics as well as a talent for sewing and designing clothing.
History: Ever since she was able, Setsuna has guarded the Time Gate, from the Silver Millennium onward. During most of her life she has been alone, unchanging and not aging, outside of Time’s flow. When Queen Serenity’s reign came to an end, she was left behind to continue her duty and wait until the time when her fellow Senshi would return.
In her solitude, Chibi Usa made friends with her, though the young Princess stole one of her time keys to go to the past. Setsuna never held it against the girl though, doing everything in her power to make sure she was safe. She eventually took on a civilian life as a college student during the Middle Age to help and aid her fellow senshi. Unlike the others, she did not have a family or other ties since her time there would be only temporary.
Though she sided with Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune in the search for the Messiah of Silence, she had great sympathy for the Inner senshi, perhaps due in part to Chibi Usa’s pleading with her. After she sacrificed her life to help Uranus and Neptune by stopping time, she was not seen again until she was reborn and returned to the past to help Hotaru. She raised the small girl with Michiru and Haruka, while preparing for the battle with Chaos.
After the conflict ended, Setusna was compelled to return to her lonely post, though it hurt her heart to leave the senshi, and the young girl she had come to consider her own daughter. But now that Usagi is Queen and conflict is arising, she has returned to oversee events once more, sensing that the events may cause the senshi to break without her help. She has set up a small shop to sell the clothes she designs. Setsuna is determined to make sure that the future she has seen comes to pass.
Powers: She has no powers in her civilian form. In her senshi form, she uses her Garnet Rod in battle, and is a formidable opponent. Her primary attack is Dead Scream, a blast of purple energy. She also has an attack known as Chronos Typhoon, and a defensive shield known as Garnet Ball. She also has the power to seal off the Time Gate to protect it from those who would seek to abuse its power with her Dark Dome Close.
Her most mysterious powers are that over Time. She wears a belt of keys around her waist- keys that can grant upon the bearer the ability to travel backwards and forwards through time. Chibi Usa stole one, and it was by this power she was able to travel to the past. Pluto’s strongest ability is the power to stop time completely, though she is expressly forbidden to do so. The consequence for stopping time is her life.
Past Life: Setusna remembers the details of the past more clearly than any of the others. She guarded the outer solar system on her own planet of Pluto, while also guarding the Time Gate- a task appointed to her at a young age by Queen Serenity. She spent most of her life apart from the others, as was her duty as a lone soldier.

She could never have imagined that she would get the opportunity to have a little girl of her own, never thought that her life would allow it.

Her heart ached with mixed feelings of soaring happiness and despair- she knew that all too soon she would have to leave her sweet daughter for the lonely Time Gate, but it was her fate.
