[Mizuno Ami]

Ami nodded, reassured at what Makoto was telling her, at least a little bit. Despite what they remembered, their past lives did not guarantee anything in this life, and Ami was not entirely sure she'd want it to. After all, look what had happened with Usagi and Mamoru. She knew that if Zacharie was with Minako, then she would not stand a chance at all, though she'd not want to compete with any of her sisters for a boy.

She smiled back to Makoto, "All four... in Tokyo and only one of them is Japanese. This is not a coincidence. I'm not even sure you meeting two of them like that was..." An intellectual puzzle was something that she could work on comfortably, something she could take refuge in.

"That has to mean that they will all awaken. Whatever reason they think they're here... there's something more. Do you think they're drawn to Mamoru they way we were to Usagi?" She frowned a minute, "And will their awakening mean we'll face another enemy, assuming they're not."

[Kino Makoto]

Makoto placed the magazine back on the rack and nodded to Ami. “Definitely not coincidence. Something is up.”

She pursed her lips in thought for a moment. “It could be Mamoru. But seeing as how both Hiroki and now Nathaniel have had bigger reactions to being around Rei and myself… It could be a combination of things that have drawn them to Tokyo.”

She moved to head for the exit again, when Ami brought up the idea of a new enemy. “Do you think that could be it? It’s been so quiet…” She frowned. “Despite everything that happened back then, if it is a new enemy, I sincerely hope it’s not them.”

Ami nodded, "A combination of things makes sense. I wonder why it didn't happen sooner though... we could have used allies against Galaxia, or even the Old Earthers... assuming that they'll be allies."

She sighed and shrugged as they left the store, "I don't know. I can't imagine that we're really ever going to get peace for long. She smirked slightly, "We still have to face the beginning of the Dark Moon Clan."

She smiled at her sister's expressed hope, "So do I... I don't know if I could handle fighting him for a third time."
