There are no more traces of the Silver Millennium, not on Earth, and definitely not on the moon. Magic has been replaced by technology; love has been replaced by Gucci bags. The spirits of the senshi were lost at the destruction of the moon kingdom. Luna has lived thousands of years in her human form, never aging, traveling from country to country when suspicions arose. Now, of course, it's easier, what with plastic surgery and everything. Her journey has brought her to Paris, where she's starting all over. Again. Little does she know that Paris is not only the notorious city of love - but that within it lie far too many dormant powers. One of which is Princess Serenity. And Princess Serenity is nothing without her guardians...
Enter Sailor Potentia. Most highly-trusted sailor senshi of Queen Selenity. Before the climatic downfall of the moon kingdom, Potentia had turned on the Queen and turned to evil - setting off several attacks within the core of the moon kingdom, which led to its eventual demise. Before dying, the Queen sealed Potentia and, with the silver crystal, sent her daughter's, the senshi's, Artemis', and Prince Endymion's spirits - to Earth. Luna, with the last of her strength, the only survivor - came to Earth and lived as a never-dying human, awaiting the awakening of the other senshi and their princess.
Over thousands of years, the seal over Potentia has gotten weaker and weaker. She's been able to create two senshi - a power only known to her, granted by Selenity herself... a mistake, for an old friend. These senshi are just like the rest of the senshi - wielding powers to foretell and to inflict pain - Sailor Astrum and Sailor Ater respectively. Though Potentia's own soul stays dormant, the seal is near to cracking. Before she's released, she needs to find a suitable human host - a human who has a star seed that is suitable to hers. To find this host, she sends Sailor Astrum and Sailor Ater to Earth - to be exact, to Paris, France.
People are dying. To uncover a star seed - the soul of a human being - you must kill the person. Imagine removing a soul from someone - and not being able to put it back. The only person who is able to put it back..?
