[A tome bound in black leather that Hotaru most frequently keeps in her pillowcase in her bedroom. It has a small catch on it, a traditional diary lock. The key is secured underneath one of her favorite lamps.
Precise, beautiful calligraphy details anything in her day-to-day life that was interesting or of note to her. In the bottom left hand corner of every twenty-fifth page, she inscribes her approximated age to the day for future reference.
Inside the cover, in English script, she has transcribed a number of Yeats poems and curiosities.]

Like a dream, I can see the fall of the Silence Glaive, with my own two hands how I wrought the end of that era. I have no desire to dwell on such things, but I should keep recording them in this book. ...Entry 342... I got an e-mail today from Usagi-san, it looks like we're all going to be spending time together and having fun. Now to go get mama and papa. I'm very glad we'll be able to just get together, it feels as if people are drifting, their bonds stretched thin. I know it is the nature of duty and life, but... (12 years old)
