Thinking about the thread guidlines and such, I had this little thought cross me:
What about the fact that sometimes, IRL, people overhear things that others don't want them to? Should we just take into consideration that if you're being too loud in a thread, for instance, someone who wasn't technically present there might still "overhear" it anyway? Or else, someone might get seen somewhere they're not supposed to be, etc. etc.? Of course, a lot of it would be up to MUN discussion, but some of it should just be common sense. For instance:
Rei and Makoto get into a huge fight in a hallway.
Obviously, someone--servants, other "nobles," are probably going to over hear this and wouldn't need to be told about it later?

I think as long as we discuss it openly and it doesn't HURT the plot (rather than help it) that would be a-ok. But sometimes that type of thing can cause the plot to go in the 'wrong' direction as well. We just need to consider what we want as a team. Rei and Mako's Players might WANT people to overhear as well.

I think the answer to this is primarily common sense and good communication skills.
For example, even if loud, if in a private enough place there might not be any overhearing (except perhaps just a general sound of noise).
The guidelines are just that - guidelines. They're not meant to be super strict rules.
