Mamoru grinned and shook his head. “I stand corrected then, however I still say that you would be hard pressed to find someone that would have referred to me as not a nice guy.”
He growled his satisfaction when she tugged her dress down a little, before continuing his previous activities. He groaned when she arched her back and pressed further against his hand. Mamoru shuddered appreciatively when her hands returned to him after pulling his belt loose and tossing it aside. So intent was he upon tormenting and pleasuring her, he never even noticed that the elevator beginning to move, nor did he notice it stop one more.
It was the sound of the opening doors that finally managed to drag his attention away from Usagi. He lifted his head when the light suddenly flashed into the dark, dazed with desire, his eyes glazed over in confusion as he tried to bring himself back down from the high he had just been in. It was the sound of the man’s voice and Usagi freezing under him that brought reality crashing down upon him and he groaned in horror.
This was just not happening to him. It couldn’t be happening. He was not here in this elevator caught in a very compromising situation with Usagi by whoever their rescuers were. He felt Usagi attempt to move underneath him and squeezed his eyes shut once more.
At Usagi’s outburst, Mamoru honestly couldn’t help laughing softly, a sound half way between amusement and mortification at the situation they found themselves in. This was just the perfect ending to an otherwise horrible couple of weeks. Was the very cosmos against him these days? The very stars must have been aligned against him lately because it just seemed to him that everything that could happen to him was happening to him.
Forcing himself to calm a second later, Mamoru slowly withdrew his hand from between Usagi’s thighs and climbed to his feet dragging Usagi up with him so that she would be somewhat blocked out of sight. He was still relatively dressed, though his shirt was loose and he had lost his belt. Usagi’s dress on the other hand couldn’t exactly be considered being worn. As he stood, he also managed to snag his suit jacket and thrust it at Usagi before turning to face the open door so he could see just who had come to their rescue.
Although technically speaking Mamoru’s dignity was now nonexistent he had spent years perfecting a mask of composure. Therefore when he turned to look at his rescuers he appeared as calm and collected as ever, even though he was desperately wishing he was anywhere but here. He groaned inwardly when he caught sight of exactly whom his rescuers were, did it have to be Lucan and Khalid? Luna he could handle, but Lucan had already seen him in an embarrassing situation and Khalid was . . . well he was Kunzite. This was just not his day.
Staring blandly at the three of them, Mamoru spoke a greeting with as much dignity as he could.
“Khalid, Lucan, Luna . . . ”

Khalid's eyebrow rose as he saw the situation in the elevator. "Endymion. Serenity. If you'd prefer we didn't rescue you... well... tough."
He could not believe that this was happening again. Actually, as he looked at his prince and his insistent princess, he could. He shook his head slightly, a smirk playing at the corner of his lip, "I'm sure Venus will be here to collect Serenity soon enough."
At least Endymion had thought to hand Serenity his coat to cover her. Not that he really blamed either of them, he just wished that that they'd be a little more careful of where they decided to have their little indiscretions.
The light on his head flared for just a moment, though it dimmed almost immediately, and Khalid suddenly wondered exactly what it was he had just said. "I'm glad to see that you're both all right." He turned to Lucan, hoping that he had not said anything too outlandish, though the spike of guilt he felt in his gut made him wonder what had just happened. "It would probably be best if they weren't seen coming out of the elevator together. Since the Queen is your protectee, I'd be glad to see to En... Mamoru."

When the doors opened, it took Luna’s mind a few moments to comprehend what she was seeing simply because she was so surprised. She had been so very worried ever since she had been told about Usagi being stuck in this elevator, not necessarily because of her safety but more because she had been worried that Usagi would be scared. It had never occurred to her even in her wildest imaginations that she would have walked in on Usagi and Mamoru in such compromising situation as she saw them in right now.
The longer she stood there staring at the couple in the elevator, the more Luna’s fur began to bristle angrily. She had been worried for three hours now and all Usagi was doing was ... was this? Her tail lashed violently as she growled, “USAGI!!”
Luna flicked her ears in both Khalid and Lucan’s direction, annoyed that neither one of them were upset about this. In fact, unless she missed her guess they were amused. This was not funny, not funny at all and both of them had better be glad that it was only the three of them here. If the press had been here, the story would have been everywhere before Usagi could even blink.
She could have sworn that Usagi had broken up with Mamoru. She had claimed that she didn’t love him anymore, that she didn’t know him. Whether any of that was true or not Luna couldn’t really say, but regardless of anything this was very much not proper behavior for a queen.
Although Luna had caught Khalid’s remarks, she was far too furious to even began to comprehend them. She simply glared furiously at the couple for a moment more, growling softly until of course Lucan asked Usagi the question about whether she should separate from Mamoru or not. She couldn’t help hissing softly, “I should think it would be better to separate them considering the fact that they’ve demonstrated that they can’t be trusted together.”

Usagi bristled at Khalid's words. Not only were they rather insulting in the moment, but he was talking to them like they were back on the moon! Had he awakened? Had something happened? She couldn't deal with the Shitennou right now!
"No one is coming to 'collect' me, senshi or otherwise," Usagi snapped. She wasn't a precocious princess anymore, she was an adult and she didn't need to hear this from anyone-- certainly not him! Luna was going to be more than enough. Usagi flinched as her familiar growled at her.
She felt unwelcome, hot tears come to her eyes as Mamoru laughed softly at her outburst. He was in the same situation she was, he shouldn't be laughing at her! She didn't say anything wrong! But he at least he helped her to her feet, shielding her from the rest of them. But when he thrust his jacket at her like she was some kind of common whore that needed covering up, Usagi almost lost it. She inhaled deeply, grateful as the light was turned out and rolled in to them. Lucan at least turned his back so she grabbed the flashlight and clicked it on, pulling down her dress and shifting it so it fit properly again, putting on her shoes and grabbing her purse and wrap as quickly as she could, fingers shaking. She swallowed hard, wondering why this felt familiar, just trying not to let her mortification, even shame, overwhelm her.
She looked at Lucan when he asked if she should separate from Mamoru or not, but then glared down at Luna. "It's none of your damn business what we do in private!" she hissed right back at the cat. "Can't be trust together-- we're not Bonnie and Clyde, robbing banks!" Clenching her jaw, she straightened, trying to gather all remnants of her shattered dignity that she could.
"We're staying together," she declared flatly. "All of us, until we're out of Shinjuku. Considering that it's going to be a 500 credit helicopter ride out of here, and that's only one facet of the expense, let's save the taxpayers some money and just take everyone out at once. Besides, that's one less pilot that needs to be swore to secrecy for this night's events."
Despite her logical bravado, the pure and simple fact was that Usagi didn't want Khalid and Mamoru to leave her alone with Lucan and Luna until they absolutely had to. She would even have to come up with some excuse to keep Lucan around because there was no way she was going to get left alone with Luna tonight. She'd walk out of it covered in scratches, either verbally or physically.

Mamoru stilled in surprise when he heard Khalid speak up. Endymion, Serenity, even the part about Venus . . . that sounded like something out of the past. For a moment he felt a vague sense of familiarity for this entire situation, but he quickly shook it off. There was more important things to worry about. He knew that Kunzite hadn’t awakened yet, but that he was close. Perhaps he was closer then even he had thought. As much as he’d prefer to stay far from Khalid until this incident ceased embarrassing him, perhaps he would need to find a way to talk with him sometime soon. A thought that was only intensified awhile later when he caught sight of the flicker of power. Yes, he would have to find a way to speak with the man again soon. He needed Kunzite to wake up.
He ignored Lucan’s comment entirely, considering it only served to embarrass him further. When Usagi snapped at Khalid for what he had said, he very nearly scolded her in automatic defense of his Shitennou. It wasn’t Khalid’s fault, but he kept the thought to himself. He was fairly certain that Usagi would not appreciate him coming to his Shitennou’s defense at a time like this. Things were bad enough without adding Usagi being furious at him to the mix.
Mamoru felt Usagi flinch under him after Luna had growled at her and resisted the urge to snap at the cat as well. She had no business making Usagi feel worse then she already probably was, but more then likely Usagi wouldn’t appreciate him growling at her cat any more then she would have liked him scolded her.
He had no trouble noticing the tears collecting in Usagi’s eyes considering they shimmered in the light from behind them. It didn’t take him very long at all to realize that she thought he had been laughing at her comment. That wasn’t the case at all, he really had only been laughing at the situation they found themselves in. It wasn’t even that funny, it was just the fact that yet again something had gone wrong for him had him laughing ironically. He sighed softly and muttered, “I wasn’t laughing at you Usa, I happen to agree with your comment actually.”
When Usagi had managed to fix her dress, Mamoru took the time to tuck in his shirt and retrieve his belt from where it had been tossed. He didn’t bother with redoing his tie, just slipped it off and stuffed it into his pocket. Mamoru watched Usagi for a moment, wishing he knew what to say to make this any easier for him as well as cursing himself to the very ends of the earth for putting her into it in the first place. Still there was a small part of him that still found this entire situation somewhat familiar, but he couldn’t place it.
When Lucan turned back and asked Usagi what she wanted to do, Mamoru had just been glancing back to her to see what she would say when Luna spoke up once again. He stiffened, his temper rising instantly at her words. Mamoru turned back to give the cat one of his better glares and was just about to reprimand her whether he had the right to her not. It wasn’t any of Luna’s business what he and Usagi chose to do when they were together. They were both adults and perfectly capable of facing whatever consequences their choices created. However, before he could do more then open his mouth Usagi responded. Mamoru nodded briefly and muttered, “Well said . . . ”
Usagi’s decision about sticking together was a sound one as far as he was concerned. Besides, he didn’t really just want to walk off and leave her to face this alone. He’d stick with her as long as he possibly could. On the other hand sticking with her meant having to stay in the company of Khalid and Lucan, enduring their amusement at their mortification. That was not going to be at all pleasant and he half way wished this entire evening, or rather morning now would come to a quick end. He wanted to get home and be able to sulk and nurse his humiliation in silence and privacy. Well semi-privacy anyway, he could only hope that his room mate was still sound asleep whenever he did get home. Zach wouldn’t know what had happened of course, but he wasn’t really in the mood to face any of his Shitennou at the moment awake or otherwise.

The light flared again, and Khalid could not help but mumble, "Do you two even know what a bed is for?" He did not mind the Princess' forays, afterall, that's how he had met Venus. He just wished that they would be more discreet. Quite frankly, he thought that Serenity was good for Endymion.
He blinked again, clearing foreign and odd thoughts from his head. He then nodded to Lucan's plan. "It's a sound plan." He ignored Luna's outburst, realizing that that was something between Usagi and her adviser, and definitely not something he wanted to involve himself in.
He also could not help but nod slightly at Usagi's response, appreciating her concern for the public. "As long as the helicopter can support all of us, then I see no reason to separate."
He glanced to Lucan, "Is there any reason to delay? I'd feel much more comfortable if we could have them both somewhere safer immediately." As far as he was concerned, once they were safe, what they chose to do with their time, together or otherwise, was entirely up to them. They were, after all, adults.

This time the flash of power from Khalid managed to catch Luna’s attention enough that she actually glanced at him. She stared at him for a moment, recalling the earlier words he had said. As far as she knew Khalid had not awoken as Kunzite, though his words told otherwise. She would have to figure it out later, though she supposed they could be simply memories. Khalid certainly didn’t seem to realize everything he said.
Shaking her head, Luna turned back to Usagi and Mamoru. She immediately cringed when she noticed the glares from both of them, along with Usagi’s hissed comments. Perhaps she shouldn’t have said that . . .
Luna stayed silent for the moment, deciding that it was probably best not to speak up until later. She needed to calm down or else she was only going to start a fight. Now was certainly not the time for a discussion about this, not when they needed to get Usagi safely back to the palace.
She glanced curiously over at Lucan when his phone rang with the imperial march. Luna frowned a bit when Lucan mentioned Eigo, she really didn’t like that man. Luna’s frown grew as she listened quietly. She watched warily as Lucan asked Usagi if she trusted him and then went over to break a car window and retrieve someone’s phone. Now a little confused Luna remained silent, wondering who on earth Lucan was calling at this time. She too trusted him and so she waited patiently confident that all would be revealed soon.

The irritating ringing just would not stop. Minako reached out her hand and slapped her alarm clock, and still the ringing was there. She hit it again, then grumbled when she realized that the alarm clock and the cell phone were not the same thing. Blinking the sleep out of her eyes, she sat up in bed and grabbed the phone, flipping it open on the last ring before the phone would have gone to voicemail. The quick glance she'd gotten at the lit up screen showed 'unknown name', 'unknown number.' Who in the queen's name was calling her in the middle of the night?
"Hello?" she asked, her voice groggy. Clearly she wasn't completely awake yet. She had half a mind to yell at the person on the other end about interrupting her beauty sleep, her first assumption that the caller was a crazy fan who had managed to obtain her private cell phone number.

Usagi rolled her eyes at Khalid's comment, though she did notice some kind of curious light... she just hoped he wasn't in the process of awakening. She felt selfish even thinking it, but it was the last thing she needed right now. "A bed is for sleeping," she muttered back at him. "Duh." People had sex lots of different places, elevators included. They had sex on counters and couches and floors and standing up against walls, and sitting in chairs, and in tents and on cruise ships and even sometimes in the bathtub or the shower. She knew these things. Cosmo told her so. Mentally Usagi reminded herself to purge her stash of Cosmopolitan back issues. Luna would be mad enough at her as it was without accidentally stumbling across those.
She nodded slightly to Mamoru when he told her he agreed with her comment, but it did nothing to lessen her immediate emotional reaction to his behavior. She just had to put it behind her, there were far more important things to consider right now.
Khalid seemed agreeable to the plan and said he wanted to leave immediately. "Fine with me, just no more comments from the peanut gallery," she remarked, shooting him an annoyed look, though with that weird light she wasn't sure if it was Kunzite or Khalid who was really saying those things. At least Luna hadn't said anything more, though that could mean she was saving it all for when Usagi and her were alone. She suppressed a shudder at the thought, and nodded when Lucan told her to either use the Luna pen or figure something out for her hair. She did have it on her, but was interrupted from using it by the ringing of his phone. She stifled a laugh at Lucan's explanation for using the imperial march, but found herself growing cold as Eigo's scathing tones could be heard. He was talking loud enough for Usagi to hear, and she bit her lower lip, involuntarily inching behind Mamoru. This whole conversation unnerved her. Eigo wasn't the nicest person in the world, but she had never heard him sound quite so... malevolent.
Still, Usagi rolled her eyes as Lucan hung up and told her she should have fired the man. Yeah, she heard that from him a hundred times before. "Lucan, yeah, he's a bit abrasive, but he's not that bad, really. You ought to try to get along better with him..." Usagi remarked, seemingly oblivious to the fact that the man had just threatened her to her own head of security. Obviously Eigo felt he could be so bold because even hearing it verbatim, Usagi ignored it and insisted Eigo's integrity was sound-- despite all the facts clearly pointing the other way.
Usagi nodded immediately when Lucan asked if she trusted him. She had no doubt about that, but she still jumped slightly when he bashed in the car window and grabbed a phone. She had no idea why, his phone obviously worked perfectly well, but she never understood these things anyway.
Bored and not knowing what they were waiting on, anyway, Usagi decided to use this time to put the Luna pen to work.
"Luna pen," she declared, tossing it up into the air. "Turn me into a, um..." Usagi had to catch it as it came back down because she couldn't figure out what she needed to be, and then tossed it back up: "...a nondescript government worker!!"
A few moments later, she stood, in an ill-fitting pantsuit with an elastic waistband and clunky shoes. Usagi pulled out her compact from her purse and opened it up, frowning at the reflection, angling the mirror so she could see. Light was hard to come by now. She wrinkled her nose at the bland face looking back at her. She definitely looked like a bureaucrat that had been cooped up in some catacomb of a cubicle for too long, but bleh!
"I totally should have said 'a smokin' hot government worker.'"

Mamoru tossed an irritable glare Khalid’s way. He hadn’t ever done anything like this before, so why was Khalid insinuating that it happened all the time? Of course, considering the fact that this too was said after a flash of power had flared once more and he had been referring to them as Endymion and Serenity it just stood to reason that perhaps this was a reawakening memory as well. Which of course brought about the thought that perhaps he hadn’t been quite so ‘gentlemanly’ with Usagi in the past, an intriguing thought really. The glare faded into just the slightest bit of a smirk as he murmured, “A bed can be boring at times and not nearly as fun . . .”
He relaxed and ceased paying attention to Luna when she visibly cringed and fell silent. Mamoru glanced curiously at Lucan when his phone went off with the imperial march, a little amused at the ring tone. It wasn’t long however before that amusement faded away as he clearly heard everything that Eigo was saying. His gaze darkened with cold fury as he heard the very clear threat coming over the phone. Mamoru had met Eigo before and he had never been particularly fond of him, but now . . .
Mamoru glanced down at Usagi in surprise when she defended the man. Usagi always liked to believe that everyone was good, but surely she could hear just as clearly as everyone else here that his integrity was not something she should be trusting. “Usagi you . . .”
Usagi wasn’t going to be in the mood to listen to advice about her own staff. Obviously Lucan had told her to be wary around the guy already and she didn’t want to listen to him, her own head of security. She wasn’t going to want to listen to him telling her the exact same thing and so he shrugged a little and muttered, “nothing . . .”
Mamoru watched curiously as Lucan busted the window of a nearby car and grabbed a phone. He wasn’t entirely certain why he would want to do this, but he figured it had something to do with that fact that his own phone was probably being recorded or something. Still he was curious to see whom he was calling and why.
He watched Lucan silently for a few moments until his attention was dragged back to Usagi as she used her pen to turn herself into a nondescript government worker. His smirk returned in full force at her next words however as he replied, “a smokin hot government worker would have caught everyone’s attention and we wouldn’t have gotten out of here unseen now would we?”

This time Khalid did remember that he'd said something about beds and the pair knowing what their purpose was. He had to admit that it was a bit odd, but he shrugged it off (though he was very amused by their responses!), instead raising an eyebrow at what he could hear of the advisor through Lucan's phone.
He did not say anything, but the way that Usagi brushed the behavior off did cause him to frown a bit. However, he held his counsel, though he turned his look on Mamoru, looking pointedly at the man. Right now he might not be in a position to do anything about this Eigo person, but he would be, and Khalid fully expected him to deal with it. He blinked slightly as he realized that he would not have allowed anyone to speak to the Prince like that and immediately realized that sentence did not make any sense even in his own head.
"The point was disguise, Highness. And I believe that this is a perfect disguise as no one will guess that is you." He was not fazed by magic right in front of him, though he had to admit that he probably should have been.
"Are we ready to go then? Even if you're not recognizable, Highness, Mamoru is, and Lucan is known to be your head of security. If we tarry, people may start wondering why..."

"Lucan?" Minako questioned, sitting up straighter at the sound of the head of security's voice. "What, what's going on. It's the middle of the night? Is something wrong?" Without waiting for an answer, phone still pressed to her ear, she slipped from the bed and crossed into the bathroom, flipping on the light. The sudden change in lighting was blinding, and she squinted at herself in the mirror.
It was way too early in the morning.

Minako blinked. "I, uh, sure. No problem. But why is Usagi needed in the middle of the night. And why isn't she here?" A thousand questions, none of which she really expected Lucan to answer. "Just tell me where I'm needed to go and I'll be there."
She rushed into the closet and with her free hand began pulling out clothing that Usagi might have picked for the middle of the night. Shirts and pants went flying until she found some khakis and a half dressy pink blouse. Good enough for the middle of the night.

This was crazy! Minako blinked as she repeated back the code. Pure madness? Sneaking through passages and pretending to be Usagi? And not knowing why? She wasn't even sure what to expect when she arrived at the situation room, but obvious Lucan wasn't going to elaborate on what was happening out there.
"Alright, I got it. Anything else?"
She pulled on the pants with one hand, hopping up and down as she waited for Lucan's reply. The shirt would have to wait until she was off the phone, and then there was her hair to manage... She'd get to that as well.

Luna’s tail twitched with irritation as she heard Mamoru’s reply to Khalid’s remark, however she kept her silence. She was determined not to talk about that particular subject any more, at least here. Later she would talk about it, lecture more like, but not here.
She sighed softly when Usagi defended Eigo, but she didn’t say a word. Luna knew very well that once Usagi got her mind wrapped around trusting someone then she wasn’t going to change it. There wasn’t a point in arguing with her about it. Hopefully the man didn’t really mean the threat behind his words, though she didn’t really believe that. She had seen Eigo and knew how he acted.
Luna rolled her eyes when Usagi commented that she should have said ‘a smokin’ hot government worker. Flicking her ears in irritation she grumbled, “Usagi, I’ve told you before there is no reason to add such words. The pen did it’s job and made you unrecognizable just as Khalid said.”
She glanced over at Lucan when she heard him say ‘Lady Venus’ and immediately understood. Luna nodded in approval as he asked Mina to play decoy and convince people that Usagi was there in the palace. This was a great idea in Luna’s opinion, especially since this was something that Venus did in the past.
When he hung up the phone she murmured, “Excellent plan Lucan ... should we be going now then?” She glanced over at Mamoru and Khalid a moment before adding, “Though Khalid has a point, will it be a problem that he’s recognizable and you are her head of security? Won’t it have people talking even if they don’t recognize Usagi?”
