Khalid nodded. "It's a major problem, and something that we have been working on, despite having 'oil' still in our name, even before Usagi came to throne. I will admit that not all of the motive for that was humanitarian in nature. If we were to solve the problem first, we'd have a large market share." He had no problem sharing that truth. Simple research would have turned it up pretty quickly.
"And yes. I'll be in Tokyo for the foreseeable future." He gestured towards his now empty cup of espresso, "Despite the lack of decent coffee." His lip turned up slightly in a small smirk.
"And will your new duties allow you any free time, or is stealing a break for breakfast the most you'll get?"

"There is still oil to be discovered, if I remember right. But in the end, lowering the world's dependance on oil and gas is in the right direction." Minako agreed, noting the honesty in his words as he spoke about market share. "I think Usagi is the only person in the world more motivated by her humanitarian nature than her selfish one. I don't fault anyone for making decisions that will benefit them as well as other."
She laughed at his comment on the coffee, "Perhaps you need to import some from your home? I'd be up for trying it, although I can't guarentee I'd like something much stronger than this." She pointed to her empty cup, suddenly wishing she still had coffee left. The air outside was chilly and without the warm liquid to sip on, she found herself getting cold.
"I believe I can slip away if I'd like," Minako responded, "As long I don't mind taking them along for the ride." her eyes shifted left and then right, indicating the two men sitting off at other tables watching her while they read the paper.

"There is, but even if there were an unlimited supply it's really not the best resource." He raised an eyebrow at her description of Usagi. The woman definitely seemed open-hearted, but was it truly possible that she did nothing out of self-interest? More importantly, was it even healthy to not act of self-interest, at least to some degree?
"Oh, I have some, but not every morning allows the time for me to brew it."
"In that case, Lady Venus, since I'm more than willing to deal with being trailed by security, though I assure you that I will keep you safe, I would be honored if you would join me for dinner when your schedule allows."
