Kunzite simply raised an eyebrow as what was meant as a peace offering was misinterpreted. Glancing to Mamoru, he decided to let it go. He had meant to indicate that he was trusting Jadeite to take care of their liege, not giving an order or even making a request, but simply stating that he actually trusted the other man to do so.
He listened to what Jadeite was saying, nodding slightly as he remembered those last days so very long ago. "Then we succeeded in that at least. I suppose there is some comfort in that." That that did make him wonder, then, if being united was such a good thing. If there was a version of himself without his guilt, without the burden he carried, he was not sure he wanted to force everything upon him. However, the help he could give Mamoru as a ghost stuck in a stone was extremely limited, and, as always, duty would rule.
"That's quite a coincidence that you would meet two of 'us' in so short a period of time." There was definitely a hint in his voice that he did not think it was a coincidence at all.
He looked towards Jadeite, "The melding of the two halves, is it complete or do you feel as if you are two persons in one body?"
